I’m not as computer savvy as I would like to be.
There are certain things that I know how to do and then there are things that I just can’t figure out.
I need some help with something that has bugging me for years – yes years.
Every time I click on an email address online (like trying to reply to a comment), it pulls up an email program that I don’t use (I believe it’s Windows Messenger). I use Yahoo.
I am constantly having to copy and paste into yahoo to send someone an email and it’s really frustrating.
I just want to be able to click on the email and have it open up Yahoo.
Is that possible? Please help me!![]()

Thank you to my wonderful brother-in-law for helping me out.
Hey! You forgot to share the solution! Some of us have that same problem too!
Michelle
You have to open Mozilla and submit a list of puns. If they’re rated high enough, the problem solves itself.
I submitted ten puns to try and win, but no pun in ten did.
Dan, what would I do without you??
Michelle,
Here are the instructions that Dan sent me (and they worked!!)
Start by opening a Mozilla window, and clicking on “Tools”
At the bottom of the Tools tab, click “Options”
A new “Options” window should open; click on the “Applications” tab
Scroll down until you see “MailTo”, listed under the Content Type
To the right should be a drop-down menu; click, and select “Yahoo! Mail”
Iceland corrected!
