I love the scones at Starbucks, but I don’t love the price. I decided that I need to try making some at home instead.
I started with this recipe for Maple Walnut Scones, which I found on Allrecipes.com.
I did a couple of things differently. Not because I’m a super chef and like to do my own thing. Only because I didn’t have the exact ingredients and didn’t want to go to the store. I only had salted butter (instead of unsalted) and I didn’t toast the walnuts (because I’m lazy).
They turned out pretty good! I will definitely be making them again. I think I need to add scones to our breakfast rotation at least once a week.
