An Infinite Amount of Mustard

With all of our friends recently moving, we ended up with more mustard than I know what to do with.  This was just the beginning of our mustard stash.  I believe it doubled in the few days after I took this picture. We consolidated and ended up throwing a few of them out – I mean really, can you have an entire shelf of mustard in your fridge?

It has become a running joke in our household now.  Trying to find recipes that include mustard.  Mustard soup for dinner? Teasing each other that maybe we need to pick up another bottle when we pass by it in the store.

I wonder if it will all last us until we move from here.  (There is even an unopened bottle in the cupboard!)

Have you ever been blessed with food when your friends and neighbors moved?

We seem to have a ton of mustard in our house too, but they are all different kinds. We have classic, dijon, honey, spicy brown, etc. I think we have just about every type of mustard that ever existed. Someone we know will hit the mustard jackpot when we PCS!

I remember watching an Extreme Couponers episode where the lady got 45 mustards. I thought, who eats all of that mustard?
Good luck findin recipes!!!

This is a great picture and a great glimpse into the military life. I remember traveling up and down my street in Apex, NC with a Radio Flyer wagon filled with perishables and nearly-empty bottles of cleaning stuff to give away to my neighbors.

I have had so many good friends condiments end up in my fridge after they moved. It goes without saying that goodbyes are difficult, but when the last of “their” condiment was used up, I had a hard time throwing away the bottle. Like somewhere in my head, I was saying goodbye twice. Weird.
