Even though we’ve been there a couple of times during the past few years, we decided to make our route through Yellowstone National Park again. I know that it’s one of those parks that almost everyone has been to, but I want to share my pictures anyway.
My kids were cracking up at this sign.
Please don’t step on the geysers. I wonder how many kids this has happened to…
Yellowstone is such an incredible place – almost like you’re on another planet.
The colors are so vivid.
And almost unreal.

We stopped at the river for a quick cool-off (and to empty out the cooler. Ice melts incredibly fast). Tori was overjoyed about getting some fresh air and feeling the cool water run through her toes.

We went to the visitor center, but we didn’t wait for Old Faithful to blow. We watched it the last two times we visited, but opted to skip it this time around since it was a summer weekend and extra crowded. While Old Faithful is cool, it’s not all there is to see in Yellowstone.![]()

Awesome pictures! One day we’ll get out there…who knows when, though. The Air Force needs to send us west of the Mississippi again first…
I used to go to Yellowstone every summer when I was a kid. Highlight of the year. I miss it keenly, smelly mudpots and all.
