We have lived in Texas on three different occasions (San Antonio, Ft Hood and El Paso) and I recently realized that my children had never been to a rodeo! That was definitely something that we had to fix.
Since I got a stack of free tickets (being in the military has its perks sometimes), I took the older three girls – despite the fact that I had a cold creeping up on me.
I’m really glad that we went. They were so interested in all of the different events and even though it was a small rodeo in comparison with some that I have attended, it was fun.
Here are some of the pictures I took that evening. The girls were really worried that someone was going to get hurt. I’m happy to report that everyone seemed fine.
