Our Travels: Lego Land Discovery Center

I have a house full of Lego Lovers. We were in Kansas City, visiting the National World War I Museum and noticed that there was a Lego Land Discovery Center a couple of blocks away.  Even though this isn’t the full-up Lego Land and is geared towards smaller children, we decided to go anyway.

Tori was so impressed that the Lego girl was bigger than her!Nick, weighing himself in Lego bricks. The older girls liked the wizard. My favorite part were the miniature models of Kansas City – and the Wizard of Oz.:)Liberty Memorial and the WWI Museum.Follow the Yellow Brick Road!!The Emerald CityCan you see the little feet under the house? The room got dark and crickets started chirping.  It was neat to see the city lit up.Nick was in absolute heaven – swimming in Legos.Someday I hope to take the kids to one of the Lego Lands in California or Florida.:)  Have you ever been before?
