I was cheap this year and refused to spend a bunch of money on poorly made costumes. (The stuff in the box stores is junk!!)
Since we were gone for two weeks prior to Halloween and didn’t have a lot of prep time, we decided to make do with what we had on hand. The only thing I bought was make up and hair spray.
Ellie watched a You Tube video on how to make yourself look like a piece of pop art and recreated it on her own face.
She then made Nick into a pirate and Tori into a princess and Kate into an alien in disguise and Lexie into a zombie Snow White.
Then she gave me a “day of the dead” face.
So, all I did was buy the candy and she took care of the rest. Thanks Ellie!!
There are perks to having an artistic child.
