This page will be updated with pictures soon…
After a couple of years of college, I served in the Air Force for a few years.
It was so long ago that it sometimes seems like it was another life. And in a way it was. It is so weird for me to think that if I had stayed in, I would be sitting at 16 years right now. Four years shy of retirement. Wow.
Here is a picture of me in Basic Training. I was so young!!!

And here are a few pictures of me at language school.
After a few years, I got married to my wonderful husband. He’s in the Army though and being dual military in different services is tough. We were stationed together at the time, but we weren’t sure how long they would be able to keep us together.
When I found out I was pregnant, I decided to get out while I had a chance. I really loved my job and but I didn’t want to send my baby to daycare and I didn’t want our family separated. I just couldn’t do it. So, that chapter of my life ended.
I’ve been at home with my kids ever since and although there are days that I miss working, I never regret the decision I made.
From the Air Force life, to Army wife.![]()
