What I use

I am still quite the beginner when it comes to photography.  I’m making a lot of mistakes, but I’m also learning something new every day.

I bought my first D-SLR camera two years ago and I’m still using it today.  I’ll eventually upgrade when I have the money, but a better lens will come before I spend the money on a nicer body.

Right  now, I’m shooting with a Nikon D-5000.  Here is my camera, lenses, and some of the books I’ve been reading.

I’ve recently moved from Photoshop Elements to the full version and Lightroom 3.  I have so much to learn!!

I also got a subscription to Photovision, which has amazing videos from some great photographers. I love being able to see how they work.  I especially enjoyed the sessions on newborn photography.

Here are a few links to some of my favorite actions and designs.

I’m glad you have this information here. I’m looking at my camera options. Do you have any idea what the difference is between the D5000 and the D7000?
